“I understand that today might be the best day before the worst day”
Viktoria (Service and sales support)
Hello Viktoria, Can you tell a bit about yourself and your position in Schild inc?
I'd be happy to share!
How is it nowadays to live in Ukraine? How does the war situation impact your daily life?
Living in Ukraine nowadays is quite challenging. There's a meaningful phrase from a Ukrainian poem that resonates with our current situation: "I will laugh through my tears." It's been more than two years since the war began, and while I've adjusted to it to some extent, it still feels like my life is on pause, waiting to restart and live fully again. Despite everything, I'm in the best positive mood I've ever been in because I understand that today might be the best day before the worst day.
A few days ago, my mom woke up because she heard Iranian combat drones flying above the city. I’m glad I slept soundly and didn't hear anything, thanks to soundproof windows. The most difficult part is the constant background anxiety and the frequent blackouts. It's really hard to work without electricity for up to 16 hours a day, but I’m doing my best to assist our clients promptly.
What do you love to do in your free time?
In my free time, I love traveling abroad and camping in our beautiful Carpathian mountains. I also enjoy photography; I'm the one who takes great photos of everyone, but when it comes to getting a picture of myself, my friends pass the phone or camera around like a hot potato because they know it's tough to make me happy with the shot 😄! Riding my bicycle is another favorite activity of mine.
I cherish spending time actively with my fiancée, friends, and family, whether we're going on adventures, having fun get-togethers, or simply enjoying each other's company and making memories together.
Tell me about Schild inc, what kind of company is it?
Schild Inc. is truly a love at first sight. It's owned by young, inspired entrepreneurs who were captivated by its unique and beautiful products. We’re passionate about sharing these exceptional items and helping other companies highlight their brand's uniqueness.
Working at Schild Inc. has been a great experience for me. It's not always easy, as the work is quite demanding, but the friendly atmosphere here helps us grow and handle any situation. The team is committed to delivering outstanding products, and being part of that effort has positively impacted my professional growth and personal satisfaction.
What is your daily job routine?
My daily job routine mainly revolves around daily communication with clients and handling important administrative tasks. As part of the customer service team, I assist clients with any questions they may have, provide advice on logo adjustments and sizing when needed, and create quick mock-ups (though I'm not a designer, sorry about that! 😊).
My favorite part of the process is working with your amazing logos and transforming them into metal labels—it feels like magic! Seeing your excitement when you first see the official mock-up before production is really rewarding. And when you receive the final product and share your enthusiastic feedback, that's the best part for me.
What kind of labels are your favorite?
Choosing a favorite label is tough because I genuinely love them all! When it comes to recommending materials and finishes, it's really difficult to pick just one. If pressed, though, I'd probably lean towards brass vintage or copper printed.
Can't really explain why, they just stand out to me! 😄
Is there anything else you would like to share with our community?
When I first received samples of our labels, I couldn't help but fall in love with them. They're so impressive that I think it's worth starting your own business just to use these labels everywhere. It's a pity I don't have my own business; otherwise, I'd be sticking them everywhere!
P.S. Me + my friends + mountains + my camera + sunset is the ideal formula for me!
